Bowls is all about fresh air, activity, and developing your own personal skills in a great social environment. Lawn bowls is an international support which is ageless. it is a game for young and old which presents friendly competition for bowlers of all standards from beginner to expert. It encompasses people from all walks of life and a state backgrounds. Bowls clubs are more than just sporting centers. The social saying is a busy one and there is plenty of opportunity for those who would like to assist with club administration. Age is not a barrier bowls is a game for young and old, and competition is encouraged at all levels, most Australian Champions are in their 20' & 30's. Coaching is readily available for beginners and the friendly atmosphere which exists on the Bowling Green has to be experienced to be believed. If you are traveling interstate or even overseas a welcome always awaits at a nearby bowling club. Why not take a new direction in life and join us on the Bowling Green. The only regret you will have is that you didn't do it earlier. CRACKERJACK BOWLING 2008 Crackerjack nights (Twilight bowling) at Chelsea Bowling Club season will start in October 2008 There is no better way to spend a pleasant summer evening, than with family or friends, playing a nice social game of bowls either in flat soled shoes or barefoot, sipping a nice cold beer (or other!) all for next to nothing! Chelsea is one of the few clubs to openly invite you in for a mere $5.00 green fee. So come on down and sample our hospitality and meet our very approachable club members and have some fun! |
